Sound of the Underground

I've been lank guilty for not posting for so long, so i thought i'd make up for it, with some madness. This is some crazy ish, wait for the trip to start. Douster manages to blend the maddest drum and synth sample's into a different new sound, its chunky but light. Perfect for the jammers and those who just prefer to get lost in the sounds. Enjoy it

What!?!?!?!

Mother of Mayhem! I got very very lucky today. I found this track Jimmy Chronic dropped at sugar late last year that totally mind-f*cked me. Its minimal tech with the maddest vocals ever, i wish i knew what they meant but wow, its mighty mad. I suggest you save up for a new set of speakers, cause you're gonna blow your current one's listening to this! Its by Stimming, strange but good.

Mos Definitely

Here's the latest offering from the legendary Mos Def - Casa Bey. Who performed at the CapeTown Jazz Festival And Carfax last month. I'll admit that the instrumentals sold me on this track but the simplicity of this video allowed me to focus on the lyrics, which i quite like too. Enjoy it

I'm Lost?

I can't tell whether this is a sort of deep house or minimal tech. I'm confused but that doesn't really matter now. It's all about the music right? Well whatever it is, i find it incredibly calming. Perfect for the drive home after a big night, but then again you might fall asllep behind the wheel so scratch that idea. Well whatever you do with it, remember it's by Todd Bodine & Ludwig Coenen.

Indian House?

Yeah, i was lost too when i saw the title of this EP, but once again i was pleasantly surpised by Monobrain, this tribal deep tech, has the potential to be annoying, but i find myself wanting to listen to it more and more. If you want to hear something absolutely new, give this a try, and Dj's try this one out, i'd like to hear about how the clubbing public reacts to this.

You Tuned In?

Finally Breakthrough! I got something for all you fidget hipsters, yes Jaymo is in the house. He's brought along a track that'll get you jumping up and doing the two step. It's classic, fidget, the truth way. The vocals are a tad weak, but I'll still give it a listen or twenty. Mad-Mad-Mad World!

The Sound Of Miami

OK i know there's not much fidget on here of late, but be patient and give these other sub-genre's a chance, this is something I'm into at the moment, it's deep house but with some tech elements. This particular track is taken from the Blacksoul WMC Sampler. It'll capture you unexpectedly and keep you along for the whole 5 min 40. I'm definitely going to be looking out for more of Poussez stuff, massive!

Are you Free or are you Dom?

Since I'm indulging in self pity because of all the work i have to do, i thought I'd continue the theme and bless you with this somber jazzy-ness. It's so perfect for season, the start of winter and exams. The Young Lovers present, Free. Enjoy it and remember in a few weeks, you'll be passed out somewhere embracing your freedom.

Greetings

Sup citizens of cyber-space. I'm sure you'll have noticed my absence of late, as i have explained, varsity is getting a tad hectic, so I'll blog whenever i can. Well enough of the sad stuff, i got an old but massively solid banger for you, i stumbled on it while making a study playlist. It's by Style of Eye, what more do you need to know, except that, its crazy tribal minimalistic tech!! this sh*t be crazy!! i prefer the Limb by Limb version because of the vocal interlude. Enjoy

Mayhem!!

As Amy Winehouse would say it, what kind of f*ckery is this. This big track has just got me feeling like this weather isn't too bad after all. I've seen Dubbel Dutch all over the blogosphere but for some reason, I've just been reluctant to download any of his stuff, perhaps the name just wasn't catchy enough. ha ha. Anyway thanks to my good mate Reezo, i downloaded this deep-tech banger, my oh my. This is madness.
