DUb-bing Out

Now here's a track I've been looking for, for quite some time. Basement Jaxx dropped it on my birthday and it completely floored me, especially since I'm not the biggest dub_step fan. Its a Caspa remix and it does the original complete justice. Let its simplicity sweep you away

Art Of Noise - Moments In Love (Caspa Remix)

Phonetic Jazzophone

I discovered a long time back that I study (well cram) best while listening to music, so the following will be a collection of tunes that got me 'in the zone'. First up, and this came as a complete surprise, Homework have brought forth a complete banger comlpete with old school feel and vocals but with a new almost urgent energy. This track is sure to drive any crowd into complete frenzy, and perharps most endearing is its almost jazzy influences in places. Enjoy it

He's Back

Johnny's back after writing 10 exams, what a nightmare, but thats behind me. Time to get back to the music, events, and general summer mayhem.

From The Ghost Line

Having started this blog as a mainly fidget/electro forum it took me a long time to open my mind to anything else. I'm glad that as I've matured (hopefully) Ive started to give the countless producers I overlooked a chance. One thing I'm really grateful for is discovering the minimal-tech genius that is dOP, luckily I've been aware of Mathias Kaden for a while now. Their collective talent culminates in this stripped down funky banger of a tune. Enjoy it

Mathias Kaden & dOP - The Ceremony

Big Fun

One of my latest obsessions is Iron Curtis, this producer has such an interesting take on all things deep. Its such a refreshing angle to a sub-genre that tends to sound too alike at times. Many of you will recognise the vocal sample from the D.O.N.S track 'Big Fun'. "We don't really need a crowd to have a party"

Iron Curtis - Inner Tribute To The City

Horizontal Discotude

I'm a big fan of Milton Jackson, he's someone who's style inspires me to one day try emulate his success. By simply going through the mans discography, its easy to see why, he's one of the best, consistently churning out original works. This banger is a Milton re-work that delves into the roots of deep-tech and forces you to get up and groove to the beat.

Savage Sunday

Greetings, apologies for the silence. I'm about to write exams again so its always hard to get any free time. Regardless I have a few bangers to keep you going till my emancipation. First up is one of the tracks from my mix, what grabbed me about this track was the symbiotic co-existence of the hard thumping beat and the subtle soulful melody. Its one of those tracks you cant help but jam to. Livio & Roby present Sunday Offend
