Introducing.... Riso

if you're an avid truth go-er like i am , you'd have seen this chap around those parts jamming and occasionally smokin it up :-) well he's also a dj and aspiring producer with loads of talent, who's working his way up thru hard work and pure skillz.

here's a short interview and then his latest set

1. When did you start djing & What influences your style?
Sup Kieth mo G…
I started when I was 12 (I enjoyed Trance at the time). My styles influenced by Jazz tracks, dj’s & producers with method & manner: Ricardo Da Costa (Slick Rick from the Subliminal funky house days of Harrison Crump & Harry "Choo Choo" Romero) had a huge influence on my music vocation. Faithless (We Come 1), Fresh, Steve Bug, Deep Groove, Inland Knights, Craig De Sousa (Kiss Summer Jam – December 2005), Jason Hodges, Hijack, Lee Mortimor, Crookalinos “The CROOKERS”, Roger Goode, The Pimp Squad have had the biggest influence on me not only as a Dj but as a regular party bopper too. Their stylish Jackin & Deep House to Solid Tech & fidget sets are fine, funky & first-class!

2. What style of music do you play during your sets?
My styles a unique blend of Styling Funky Jackin house to Groovy Tech and Electro with solid, twitchy to uplifting basslines. I want to create sets with a new mode funky/ Old School house twist (waiting for that right time… And song writer!)

3. Which producer dj’s have had the most influences on you?
Brett Jackson, Craig Hamilton, Troydon, Pascal, Erefaan Pearce, Lady Lea, Solid Groove & Sinden, Jake Childs, The Bulgarian, Jesse Rose, Micky Slim, Sexual Chocolate, Ryan Murgatroyd, Stupid fresh, Hijack, Trevor Loveys, Suriv & Switch.

4. Any residencies you holding down?
